Japanese style dining at Makoto Hotel, Miyajima Island, Hiroshima

by Rico Tan on November 3, 2010

Check out this dining menu at Makoto Hotel, Miyajima Island, Hiroshima, Japan. This is from our 2008 trip to Japan. Even though its called a hotel, this wonderful place basically functions as a traditional Japanese Inn – a ryokan.  Our room consisted of an ante-room for our outside shoes; a bathroom complete with bathroom slippers, and the main room – with tatami mats on the floor.  There was also an enclosed balcony, separated from the main room by sliding paper screens. A must place to go in Japan!
